Chaperons Needed

We need adult chaperons for the following Upcoming Events:

Saturday, September 29 - District Choir Competition - Individual event
held at Cinco Ranch High School

• 6-8 Volunteers AM - 7:30 am to 11:30 am
• 6-8 Volunteers PM - 11:30 pm to 4:30pm

Fall Concert, Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 7pm in the PAC (Performing Arts Center)

• Volunteers are needed to assist with Yankee Candle and Butterbraid questions as well as handing out programs and set-up.

If you are interested in chaperoning at the Spring Trip you will be required to volunteer for at least 2 other events, prior to the trip in March, to be considered. Please reply to jholli@gmail.com with your 1st and 2nd choice.

We are having a fabulous time in Corpus Christi on our Choir Trip 2011!

We've enjoyed dinner and a little line dancing at Joe's Crab Shack on the water last night.... Played in the surf on Emerald Beach  this morning .... Competed in the Buccaneer Music Classic this afternoon ..... And earned a DIVISION 1 SUPERIOR and DIVISION 1 OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE .... Then it was on to The Bar-B-Q Man for Bar-B-Q this evening ....

Looking forward to another fun day tomorrow!

Itinerary:

Friday, April 29, 2011

Bring your luggage to the Choir room before school.  This is the last day of TAKS testing. We will load the bus and the vans after school.

3:00 pm   Leave Katy High School

6:00 pm   Arrive in CC, check into hotel

7:00 pm   Dinner at Joe's Crab Shack on the pier

9:00 pm   Return to the hotel, room check, lights out at 11:00 pm

8:00 am   Breakfast at the hotel

9:00 am   Free time on the beach or in the hotel pool

Noon      Light lunch (Jason's Deli) at the hotel

1:00 pm  Brush up rehearsal at the hotel

2:00 pm  Change into your formal performance uniform

2:30 pm  Leave for contest (Texas A&M Corpus Christi Performing Arts Center)

3:35 pm  Compete at Buccaneer Music Festival

4:30 pm  Return to the hotel, change out of performance uniforms

6:30 pm  Load bus and vans and go to dinner

7:00 pm  Dinner at the BBQ Man Restaurant

9:00 pm  Return to the hotel, room check, lights out at 11:00 pm

8:00 am   Breakfast at the hotel

9:00 am   Check out of hotel, load bus and vans, drive to Texas State Aquarium

9:30 am   Spend the morning at the Texas State Aquarium

Noon      Walk to USS Lexington

12:30 pm Lunch on board the USS Lexington

2:00 pm   Attend the film presentation at the IMAX theater on board the ship *
                * (This may be changed to the 4:00 pm show)

               Tour the USS Lexington

5:00 pm   Load bus and vans and drive to What-A-Burger

5:30 pm   Eat at What-A-Burger overlooking the bay

7:00 pm   Load bus and vans, return to Katy

10:00 pm Arrive at Katy High School
