Mandatory Spring Trip Parent Meeting
Tuesday, Feb. 5th, 2013 at 7pm
Parents: We are asking for at least one parent and the student attending the Spring Trip to attend our Spring Trip Parent Meeting Tuesday, Feb. 5th at 7pm in the West Commons You can reach that via the main campus office or competition gym entrance.This is a very important meeting where we will be signing the necessary forms for the trip, going over the details of departure and discussing items to be packed, etc. Please attend with your student.

Mandatory Parent Meeting for all Choir Students
Parents: We are asking for at least one parent to attend our Spring Parent Meeting Tuesday, Jan. 15th at 7pm in the Choir Room. You can reach that via the freshman campus office entrance.
Among the items to be discussed are details of the Spring Trip coming up in March, fundraisers still available to help your student raise funds, and an update from Mr. Dierdorff on the upcoming musical - Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, a joint Fine Arts Dept. production, opening the end of January.
Please make plans to attend.

Parents-
We need your support and donations of desserts, coffee, juices and bottled water!Don't Forget the Holiday Choir Concert - December 10, 2012 at 7pm, Silent Auction opens at 6pm.
A very special guest from the North Pole will be joining us, we will have a wonderful Silent Auction with items from the Houston Rockets, Astros and Initial Outfitters, and who doesn't love to sing along to Christmas Carols!
Coffee and Carols (previously the Staff Appreciation Luncheon, due to construction we had to rearrange this event)
We need donations of Desserts, Coffee, Juices and Bottled Water. If you are able to donate any of the following please get it to the choir room prior to December 12, 2012.

A few friendly reminders for everyone
(Whew, what a busy time of year)!
- Your second Spring Trip payment of $150 is due by November 30, 2012. Please send payment of $150 with your student to school and they will get it turned into the right place. We will be sending out account statements prior to the third payment being due.
- Holiday Concert - December 10, 2012 at 7pm. A very special guest from the North Pole will be joining us, we will have a wonderful Silent Auction so you can knock out some Christmas shopping, and who doesn't love to sing along to Christmas Carols!

Volunteers needed
We need 4 to 5 parents to volunteer this Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 for Region Choir Competition at Morton Ranch High School, 9th grade center. We only need 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. Please let Jennifer Hollingshead know at jholli@gmail.com ASAP if you can volunteer. All volunteers will be required to acknowledge receipt of our new Volunteer Guidelines for KHSCA. Those will be sent to you as soon as we receive your information. Thank you for your help as we send 16 students to the next step in this amazing process!Wednesday, October 24, 2012
Fall Product Sales Reminders
Butterbraids and Yankee Candles are on sale, all orders are due next Wednesday,October 31, 2012. We are encouraging all students to sell as much as they can for the following reasons: you receive up to 20% of the sales credited to your student account for the Spring Trip in March 2013 to Universal Studios in Orlando; all students are eligible to participate; it is a great fundraiser for the Choir; and did we mention, Spring Trip sales credit!
Please remember all Spring Trip Commitment Forms are due immediately and your first deposit, of $200, is due next Wednesday, October 31, 2012. If you can't make this first deposit and need to make further financial arrangements, please see Mr. Dierdorf, he can help you work it out!
