Spring Semester Events

Please note areas where volunteers are needed to make these events and/or performances successfull for the KHS Choir.

Important Dates:

• Sat., Feb 1 - UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest, hosted at Katy High School - Volunteers needed for 2 hr shifts in concessions.
• Thurs., March 20 - Pre-UIl Concert, 7pm in the Atrium
• Thurs., April 10 - Dessert Cabaret - Disney Theme - Make plans to attend
• Tues., April 15 - Election of new booster club Board - Please consider serving on the Board as we have 6 parents of seniors rotating off the Board this year. Please email Mr. Dierdorf or Mr Taylor if you are interested in serving.
• Friday and Saturday, April 25 and 26 - MASTERWORKS - Volunteers are needed on both days to assist in moving choir students to various locations, and hospitality services. Free event with concert performance at 7pm - First Baptist of Katy.
• Tues., May 13 - Choir Banquet - Volunteers will be needed prior to the event to help with decorations, etc

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

• Chick-Fil-A Breakfast Biscuit Sales - 6:40am to 7:40am once every 3-4 weeks, if we have enough volunteers
• State UIL solo & Ensemble contest - Chaperones to ride on buses and stay with kids throughout the day as they move across the UT campus in Austin.
• Uniforms, Charms/Blog Communications
• Serving on the KHSCA Board 2014-2015 school year
